Does anyone of you fancy meeting up in London this Sunday (22nd of May) at the British Museum, for drawing and sketching?
I know it is very short notice, but I have only just moved and it all took a lot longer to get everything set up and sorted than I hoped it would. It took them nearly three weeks to connect us to the Internet! My studio is still 'work in progress', I haven't beed able to work for weeks, and a lot of boxes remain stacked away and I have trouble finding things, but I will get there....eventually!
I'm planning of being in the 'Enlightening Room', which has a fabulous random selection of Objects on display, revealing the way in which collectors and travellers during the great age of discovery (1680 - 1820) viewed and classified objects from the world around them. It is housed in the King’s Library, the former home of the library of King George III in the museum and is now called 'The Enlightening, Room 1'. Anyone who likes is welcome to join me - hope to see any of you there!
