Every October, artists all over the world take on the InkTober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month. InkTober was created by Jake Parker in 2009 as a challenge to improve drawing and inking skills and develop positive drawing habits by drawing on a regular basis. It doesn't matter how or what you draw, just doing so on a regular basis is what InkTober is aiming at. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.
Anyone can do InkTober, just pick up a pen and start drawing. Are you taking part? I might not be able to keep it up every day myself, but I will do my best... Let's get prepped and ready to go!

Happy drawing everyone!

As always, London ComicCon will be held in London's Excel. This time it seems to be even bigger and spread over both halls, the North and South hall. It's always brilliant to be there, I love ComicCon. It is absolutely mad, but in a fantastic way! There is so much creativity going on, and everyone has such a good time. I won't be dressing up, but I lov
Anyone fancy meeting up in London for drawing?
Does anyone of you fancy meeting up in London this Sunday (22nd of May) at the British Museum for drawing? :)
I know it is very short notice, but I have only just moved and it all took a lot longer to get everything set up and sorted than I hoped it would. It took them nearly three weeks to connect us to the Internet! My studio is still 'work in progress', a lot of boxes remain stacked away and I have trouble finding things, but I will get there....eventually!
I'm planning of being in the 'Enlightening Room', which has a fabulous random selection of Objects on display, revealing the way in which collectors and travellers during the great ag
Artist in residence
I will be artist in residence at the wonderful 'Nature in Art' museum in Gloucester/UK from tomorrow, 5th April - until 10th April, and will give an additional art course on the 11th about painting with natural pigments (which has, as far as I know, only a couple of open spaces left - should you be interested, get in touch with the museum ASAP).
It's always brilliant to be there, I love this place. Do pop in and say hello if you are in the area! I will be working on a few pieces while I am there, come in for a chat, a coffee, and distract me (easily done)
