The old kingby ~Heliocyan

This is Bandar, he is an old fellow - lost a tooth

He's a wild one, living in India's nature reserve Bandhavgarh. He was born in 1997, so he is pretty old for a wild cat, but he is still the leader of the pack!

I painted this one after a reference photograph of Andre Bosmans:

The goal is to do exhibitions that combines photography and paintings, and try to collect money for wildlife projects through the sale of postcards and prints. This year is dedicated to tigers, because 2010 is the Chinese year of the tiger....

If you can spare some money, please support us, lot's of those wildlife parks do amazing work and they run mainly on charity, so every little bit will help them - Animals like tigers won't survive in the wild if it wasn't for wildlife sanctuaries! And those maxi postcards we have look STUNNING, they are great as presents as well and they are not expensive!!!

We have not many left, if you want some, don't think twice.

We are still at the very beginning with the project, and I'm not the fastest when it comes to painting, but it will grow steadily, so stay tuned for more....
