Editorial illustration for a publisher of educational books for children.

This illustration will accompany a text which explains the food chain in a lake situation. The size of the illustration itself will be 150mm x 80mm in the printed version of the book.

Had I been left with a choice, I would have preferred to use traditional medium for those illustrations, but they asked me to match the style to the other illustrations/design of the book which they already had. I used Photoshop & Illustrator.

I am very thankful they asked me to do a couple of illustrations for their publications, this was a rather lovely and rewarding task.

...and yes, I will be back painting traditional wildlife at some point soon.
