Beautiful!
This picture shows me again why I see certain similarities between horned owls and lynxes....the tufted ears, the spotty pattern and the huge yellow eyes!

Thank you so much! Funny you say that, I actually like the sketch more in this case. Not that I'm not happy with the finished owl, but I think there is something about sketches which I really like.

They are sooo cute when they are little, aren't they?!?! Fluff balls! A friend had one, and I was amazed how gentle they are. But o.O, a messy business... ;)

They are a beautiful prey bird. Even as a baby! Yes it was very messy and hard to get it to eat! Once it was old enough I released it.
